Android app

The Welepix Android app is made for both your clients and you. Clients use it to view and select photos comfortably, and you can manage your account from anywhere without opening your computer.

For clients

Your client opens the link you sent and the gallery opens in the app. Everything works just like in the browser: viewing, selecting, submitting the selection, asking you questions and downloading.

  • No account needed. Your link is all the client needs, same as before.
  • Links open straight in the app. If the app is already installed, the client doesn't have to look for anything.
  • For Windows computers clients have a separate Welepix app. It can be downloaded right from your link page.

Screenshot protection

Screenshots and screen recordings don't work inside the app. Your client sees the photos to make a selection, but can't save copies for themselves without you knowing. The same applies to the Windows app.

How to turn it on:

  1. Create a new share link or open an existing one.
  2. Tick “Open only in the Welepix app (Android, Windows)”.
  3. Save it and send the link to your client.

A link like this won't open in a browser anymore. Your client will see a short explanation and buttons to get the app. Clients on iPhone and Mac can't open such links yet, so only turn this on when you know which device your client uses.

For photographers

Sign in to the app with your Welepix account and manage everything just like on your computer: galleries, storage, share links, selected photos, statistics and settings.

This part is still experimental. We keep improving it, so if something doesn't work the way you expect, let us know.

Notifications on your phone

No more checking whether your client has made their choice. The app lets you know when:

  • a client submits their selected photos;
  • a client asks your advice on which photo to pick.

Tap the notification and you'll land right where you need to be.

Getting it

  • The app is on Google Play. It's free for both clients and photographers.
  • Photographers sign in with the same Welepix account.
  • An iPhone app is on its way.
